Microsoft replaces the Entra ID P2 Education Student renewal SKU

Who is affected

CSP partners selling, managing or renewing eligible Microsoft Entra ID P2 Education Student subscriptions.

Action required

Use the replacement Education Student renewal SKU for renewals from 1 July 2026 and update quoting, ordering and internal product documentation so the retired SKU is no longer used.

Evidence boundary

FY27 Education Student pricing is unchanged from FY26; the material event is renewal-SKU retirement and replacement. Microsoft Product Terms independently confirms Microsoft Entra ID P2 as a Student Use Benefit with CSP availability; the SKU transition mechanics remain bound to Partner Center.
