SkuTrace

Commercial product change, preserved as evidence.

Research method

A commercial event register, not a price-comparison table

Selection rule

SkuTrace admits dated changes to software editions, bundles, licensing metrics, entitlements, pricing or enforcement policy. Current price pages without a discrete change are not enough.

Source rule

Every record maps to first-party vendor documentation, changelogs, pricing material or policy notices. Claims are bounded to what those sources state.

Lifecycle rule

Announcements, effective dates, staged transitions and later amendments are preserved as timeline events rather than silently overwritten.

Contextual network rule

Cross-domain links appear only where a curated entity, platform, commercial model, control, region or sector relationship exists. No generic sister-site footer network is used.

Limitations

Public list prices do not establish taxes, local currency, discounts, order-form terms, individual eligibility or realised customer spend.
