Microsoft makes Business Standard with Copilot and Business Premium with Copilot permanent SKUs

Microsoft announced on 1 June 2026 that Microsoft 365 Business Standard with Copilot and Business Premium with Copilot would move from promotional offers to permanent CSP subscriptions on 1 July 2026; Microsoft then confirmed both SKUs were generally available on that date.

Who is affected

Cloud Solution Provider partners selling Microsoft 365 Business to small and medium-sized businesses, including partners handling new-customer acquisition, renewals and upsell motions for Business Standard or Business Premium with Copilot.

Action required

Use the permanent Business Standard with Copilot or Business Premium with Copilot SKUs for applicable CSP transactions from 1 July 2026, and update quotes, proposals, websites, campaigns and renewal motions that still treat those bundles as short-term promotional offers.

Microsoft Partner Center proves the 1 June 2026 announcement, the transition from promotional offers to permanent subscriptions, and general availability on 1 July 2026. This record does not extend the change to Microsoft 365 Business Basic, infer local pricing or discounts, or alter standalone Copilot Business promotional terms.
