Microsoft updates Microsoft 365 commercial pricing and package contents

Microsoft changed list prices for selected Microsoft 365 commercial suites and standalone components from 1 July 2026 while rolling additional security, management and AI capabilities into qualifying packages.

Previous stateAffected Enterprise, Business, Frontline and standalone products used the prior published list prices and package contents; existing customers retained those prices until renewal.

New stateFrom 1 July 2026, affected products use the new published list prices, including Microsoft 365 E3 USD 36 to 39, E5 USD 57 to 60, Business Basic USD 6 to 7, Business Standard USD 12.50 to 14 and F3 USD 8 to 10. Qualifying packages also receive phased security, Intune and Copilot Chat additions, with the named rollout complete by 1 August 2026.

Who is affected

New and renewing commercial customers using affected Microsoft 365, Office 365, EMS, Windows, Entra, Apps, Business, Frontline, Government-equivalent or nonprofit SKUs.

Action required

Recalculate renewal forecasts using the applicable local price list, distinguish with-Teams and without-Teams suites, and confirm tenant-specific packaging rollout through Message Center.

Evidence boundary

The published figures are USD commercial list prices and may vary by country and currency. Existing customers transition at their first renewal after 1 July 2026. Standalone Microsoft Teams and Copilot SKUs are excluded, and Microsoft 365 E7 pricing is unchanged by this update.
