Commercial transition
Who is affected
CSP distributors, direct-bill partners, resellers and customers managing or automating Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Business offer names, quotes, subscriptions and product/SKU identities.
Action required
Update name-based catalog mappings to rely on stable product/SKU IDs; review the November 1 offer-list preview and prepare separate new-purchase mappings for December 1 without forcing existing customers to migrate.
Evidence boundary
Microsoft says the new offers carry the same prices as current offers; this is a purchasing and product-identity change, not proof of a blanket price increase or removal of Microsoft 365 application/service dependencies. New standalone product/SKU IDs were not yet supplied in the 14 October notice.
