Commercial transition
Who is affected
Copilot Business and Enterprise organizations paying by credit card or PayPal, including administrators assigning seats and existing customers entering billing cycles from 1 October 2026.
Action required
Confirm sign-up availability during the gradual reopening, review seat-assignment and upfront-payment workflows, and budget for assigned seats at the applicable existing-customer billing-cycle boundary.
Evidence boundary
GitHub proves the gradual reopening and billing-method transition for card and PayPal customers. Trials remain paused, invoice customers are unaffected, list seat prices are unchanged, seat revocation does not create a prorated refund and mid-cycle additions remain prorated.
