Atlassian completed asynchronous Forge-function billing rollout, raised the monthly per-app allowance to 200,000 GB-seconds and applies charges to invoices issued from 1 August 2026.

Billing active

Commercial transition

Previous stateAsynchronous function consumption was temporarily waived and the monthly free Forge Functions allowance was 100,000 GB-seconds.
New stateAsynchronous function usage is billed under Forge platform pricing; each app receives 200,000 GB-seconds per month and overage is USD 0.000025 per GB-second.

Who is affected

Forge app developers and customers whose apps consume asynchronous function duration above the per-app allowance.

Action required

Measure function duration by app, optimise asynchronous workloads and model overage before invoice issuance.

Evidence boundary

The price applies to Forge function duration above the per-app allowance and does not make every Forge module billable. Billing is consolidated across apps while each app retains its own allowance.
